Questions About Drainage

January 26th, 2006

I’ve been using your method for a couple weeks now.  The only problem is a little clear mucous comes out now and then or a little water.  What am I doing wrong? Thanks! Carolyn

Thanks for asking: Are you using full strength salt mixture? Is the solution exiting the opposite nostril?
If yes to both, try this: after you wash, bend at the waist and slowly and gently turn your head slowly from side to side. This will encourage any solution that has been trapped in a mucosal fold to drain out.
The salty solution shrinks swollen membranes so additional mucus is able to drain over time. Please let me know if this is helpful or if you have more questions. Be Well, Dr Hana

“I Can Breathe”!

January 25th, 2006

Dr. Hana, I just wanted to thank you for making such a GREAT product!!!!  For the last several years I have been battling with what they call "allergies".  The sinus pressure has landed me in the hospital and my doctor tried perscribing me everything under the sun!!!  Nothing worked!  As time went on, it just got worse.  Nothing could clear up my infection!!  I started getting dizzy spells to the point of vomitting.  It was terrible!!  Finally, I went to an allergiest who I love and understands my "pain".  She reccomended me to Nasopure!  I was a bit hesitant at first, but now that I tried it, I CAN BREATHE!!!!!!!!!!  I love it!!!  I have been so congested for such a long time I forgot what a fresh breath of air can do!  Thank you for giving me a clear nasal passage!  It is now part of my daily routine!!! My next goal is to try it on my 3 year old daughter!  Wish me luck! Sincerely, Sasha

Prevent A Cold

January 25th, 2006

In my opinion, preventing colds - and a variety of other sicknesses as well - is as simple as good hygiene. We all know that washing our hands is important, but I noticed a big difference when I took the next step: washing my nose. We breathe in thousands of gallons of air every day, along with dirt, irritating chemicals, germs, viruses, and whatever else the air bears. Once I got in the habit of rinsing my nose out with warm saline once a day, and saw all the icky stuff that rinsing brought out, I hate to miss even a single day.The "system" I use for this is Nasopure. It’s simple, cheap, lightweight and compact - I even bring it on camping trips. Nick, St Luois

A Child Nasopurists

January 15th, 2006

The day after the Nasopure arrived, I invited my son to wash his nose by telling him that he gets to put this water in his nostril and it will come out of the other side. And maybe it’s just him? Or boys? But he was excited. I told him that the worst that could happen is that he swallows a little bit of salt water and it may feel like when we are at the beach and dives into a wave, but the water is not as salty. And that was it.

A few days later we went to an incredibly smoky restaurant but when we got home, my son said that he needed to wash because of how smoky the air was. I am amazed at how easy it was for him to adapt the habit of washing.

Now, if only I can be so diligent! Many thanks! Maria

Your son is a true nasopurist!
