Few Qestions

February 20th, 2007

I have been using Nasopure for about nine months. It has changed the way I breathe, but I am still not sure if I am doing it correctly.I lean forward slightly and squeeze the bottle so that the solution shoots back instead of up. I do not have too many problems with the solution going down my throat, but sometimes it seems to stay trapped inside-water can come out of my nostrils an hour or so later. Is this okay? When do you know if you have washed enough? Sometimes it does not feel any different if I use an ounce or 8 ounces. The improvement is amazing. I only have to take decongestants rarely now. Please let me know if I am using Nasopure correctly. I do it 2-4x a day.Thank you,Bonita

Thank you for your question! try this:after washing, bend over the sink or tub from the waist, as if you were going to touch your knees, allow your head to hang down. Slowly and gently turn your head so that only your head turns, ‘looking towards the ceiling’, turing slowly from side to side. you may not be able to turn all the way but gently do what you can. This will allow any solution that gets trapped between the tissues to drain out. Another reason this draining can occur is that the solution is salty, so over a peroid of 20-60 minutes, the swollen tissues are actually ‘decongesting’, and the trapped solution finally is allowed to drain out. You will know you have washed enough if it feels good. I suggest using 1 ounce as prevention with each wahsing two times per day. Use more solution if you are congested or infected and wash three times per day. Hope this helps…nd please let me know what worked for you. Dr Hana

Clear Nose

February 20th, 2007

Hello Dr. Hana, I wanted to send you a note to thank you for your recommendations back in August regarding the breathing troubles I was having. The more I learned about GERD the more I noticed symptoms that I have had for at least a year. My allergies and breathing are under much better control now and for the last several months I have been able to get back to doing regular activities which is answer to prayer. I am using Nasopure in the morning and evening and it helps tremendously - my wife even uses it sometimes as well. My nose stays pretty clear and I’m not struggling with broncospasms. Thanks again for your help because had you not suggested GERD, I don’t know how long it would’ve taken the other doctors I’ve seen to find that cause. Take care, Bryce, Mo

Flush Out Those Bugs

February 20th, 2007

I’m happy to share my fantastic experiences with this excellent product! As a former advocate of "Neti Pots" I’m even more impresed by the ease of use and clinical efficacy of the Nasopure product(s) in treating colds, sinusitis, nasal allergies, and indirectly even asthma! Patient acceptance has been great and I use one myself as well with benefit - generally at the day’s end when I’m finished in the office and want to "flush out" all of the offending little bugs I might’ve picked up during a busy shift… Highly recommended; wish I’d thought of it!!!
