Dr. Hana's BlogHead PositionMarch 30th, 2007Dear Dr Hana, I just wanted to let you know that I received the kit and I really like the amount of pressure that you can achieve with the bottle and the neck. It allows a better position of the head than other nasal washes. I’m very pleased with the Nasopure product. The bottle does the work very well. Thank you! Diego Posted in Questions and Answers | No More SnoringMarch 29th, 2007Dear Dr. Hana,Last fall I came by your booth at the Health Expo in Kansas City. You talked to me of the benefits of your product and helping me with my snoring. I bought your product and it works!! My wife says, "I don’t hear your snoring any more. What have you done?" I told her of the Nasopure and that I bought it for a very cheep price at Hy-Vee. She was amazed and so am I. Thank you Dr. Hana for an excellent product. I also like it because I can breath easier. I think of washing my nose similar to brushing my teeth. Sincerely,Dr. Michael S. I’ve been using your Nasopure nasal wash for over a year now with wonderful results. Recently, I’ve had a virus which has caused considerable congestion and probably a little infection in the late stages. Nasopure has helped relieve the congestion and I’ve been using it at full strength 3 times a day. The last couple of days, I’ve been using it more than the recommended frequency, particularly in the morning when I’ve needed to repeat the washing. Is it harmful to use it this much for a few days? Thanks for your time.Julie B.,Portland, OR It is NOT harmful to wash a bit more frequently, as long as the skin around the outter part of your nose is not getting too dry. You may wish to apply some lubricant frquently to avoid this from occuring. If you can safely swim 4 times per day, you can wash as well. Thanks for your kind words and I do hope increased frequency will relieve your congestion without the need for medication. Dr Hana Posted in Questions and Answers | Salt AdvantagesMarch 25th, 2007
Dear Dr. Hana, I LIKE IT! I was VERY skeptical, but my sinus infection was so bad, I would have tried anything. What a difference! Thank you!! I do have a few questions on one topic: I’ve been using the Nasopure salt packets. Can you please tell me what purpose do the Nasopure salt packets provide? Why is using salt better than plain water? The saline mixture in naspure is hypertonic, buffered and in the exact ratio that sudies have proven (as compared to plain salt and no salt) do the following: thinks thick sticky secrections, increases the filtering effeciency by 17%, removes 80% of the inflammatory mediators (allergens), removes and kills infectious particles, shrinks swollen membranes, augments healing of the nasal tissues. All the supporting studies can be found on my web site. Dr Hana Posted in Questions and Answers | TRUE/FALSEMarch 25th, 2007I think that Nasopure stuff is great! I got hooked on it after last year’s TRUE/FALSE FILM FESTIVAL. Too bad you look & feel so ridiculous while using it. Those sniffly filmmakers are in for a nasal treat. (no, not THAT kind. Ann and I are working hard to make sure no filmmaker is ever left out in the cold without a swag bag, T/F track jacket, or nasopure. What a sad image! True/False Film Festival. Jennifer R.
