Dr. Hana's BlogLiving With PollutionAugust 30th, 2007Dear Hana: My experience with your product lead me to believe that daily nasal irrigation is beneficial to everyone. As a radiologist for 20+ years, I read lots of chest CT and plain chest films every day. Senior citizens almost always have increased interstitial markings in their lungs, which pathologists tell me are from life long deposits of dust particles of all kinds. How nice it is to cleanse all the dirt before it gets to our lungs. In fact, after a day wandering in downtown Los Angeles, for example, I can count on visible black streaks coming out my nostrils after your product. My personal experience is that it takes about 6-8 oz of the solution to loosen the dirt particles before md in the dirt will come out after blowing the nose (i.e. I need a full packet per use). Ask your friends living in any polluted cities to give your product a try. MD in LA Posted in Questions and Answers | Cleanse PollutantsAugust 29th, 2007Dear Dr. Solomon: As long time allergy patient, I have used all kinds of remedies, including years of allergen desensitization shots and chronic use of antihistamines. I heard about your product several years ago from my former girl friend, a dentist. I have used your product several years with good results, bought from dental.net. This is the first time I have bought from you. I like to recommend nasal irrigation to everyone as daily routine to cleanse out the nostrils from allergens and pollutants that we breathe in and are trapped in the nasal cavity..just like we clean our skin with daily bath/shower. TC, M.D., Ph.D., FL Posted in Questions and Answers | Squirt Something Up Your Nose?August 29th, 2007My mother, in Coffeyville, KS, REALLY likes the nasal washing and says it has done wonders for her, so I am having you send another kit there for my Dad and one for my sister in the Chicago area. My mom, who is in her late 70’s and has been telling everyone she knows about it since I ordered one for her a few weeks ago. She will ask people, "Did you know that if you close up your throat and squirt something up one side of your nose, it will run out the other side?" Then she proceeds to tell them all about the benefits of nasal washing. Thanks, Ellen, NJ Posted in Questions and Answers | Clear Nose Despite AllergiesAugust 28th, 2007I started have spring time allergies for the first time last year. Considering I am 63, I feel fortunate to not having a problem prior to that. I must admit, the idea of squirting water up my nose made me a little nervous. Once I got up the nerve (the desperation to change my nasal problem) to use the product, I was surprised as to how easy it was to use. I was also very please with the results. I can breathe without hassle and my nose stays clear almost all day. When it starts to clog, I just use the nasopure system again and I am good until the AM. Hilda, KS Posted in Questions and Answers | Affordable Nose WashAugust 28th, 2007I think my mother mentioned your product to me. I have decided to give up on Nasonex and Flovent because I have osteoporosis, and I am going to try a more aggressive non-medicinal approach. I can’t see taking steroids for the rest of my life because then I’ll have to take all these other medications to counter the side effects of the steroids. I’ll have to use the Nasopure rinse twice a day and increase frequency when I feel the pressure building up. I’ve tried the bulb syringe, and it’s so messy I know I will be less likely to follow through, and I don’t want to spend almost $80 on the "pulsatile" products, which also seem messy and a real bother to use and maintain. Thanks for keeping this affordable.Cecelia M,Fresno CA Posted in Questions and Answers | |
