Nose Wash Very Beneficial

November 25th, 2007

I don’t travel very often but when I do the swish stix are helpful with my small bottle.  Otherwise I generally use my large bottle in the morning just before yoga and sometimes later in the day.  I have found Nasopure to be very beneficial.  It does open me up and makes me feel so much better in the morning, which is my worst time.  I love the design of your bottle. Thank you so much for putting a new twist on the old Neti Pot. Paul, OH

Escaped Winter Ills

November 25th, 2007

I usually get sick every year in the fall: allergies to leaf mold, sinuses get infected, post nasal drip turns into bronchitis then pneumonia if not treated. This year I have not only escaped that annual event, but what colds I have had were very minor and cleared more quickly than before. So thank you for a wonderful product. Denise, Damascus MD

Drippy Nose

November 19th, 2007

Dear Dr. Hana, Thank you so very much for sending me your product here in The Netherlands. I have been using it faithfully once a day for the past few weeks, I have found it to be very beneficial :) , but here’s my question.
I seem to have a drippy nose for quite awhile afterwards Carole, Netherlands

OK, let me see if I can be of some help here…..
Do you do it in the shower? There if feels natural and not messy. Over the sink is not as neat but easy, neither place is sexy.
Are you careful to point the bottle tip along the nasal floor, not upward?
After washing, allow the solution to drain out of the nose, naturally for a few seconds, then GENTLY blow. If you are able, bend from your waist, head hanging down and slowly turn your head from side to side which allows the extra solution to find it’s way out.
The natural decongesting properties of Nasopure may cause dripping of the nose as the extra fuid is ‘drained’ or ‘decongested’. Swelling (due to allergy, infection, pollution, pre or post surgery, pregnancy, etc) can result in water dripping from the nose as the extra fluid (from the swelling) is drawn out and drains. This usually resolves with continued washing. Let me know if this helps. I will learn from your feedabck. Dr Hana

Flushing For Years

November 19th, 2007

I have been flushing my sinuses for about 10 years now.  I feel as if I am
on a quest to get people to try this.  My coworkers just seem to think I’m
crazy, although recently, there has been an openness to the idea of nose washing.
How can people constantly complain about the pollen, their sinuses and not
being able to breathe out of their noses…when they won’t give this a
chance.  I have spoken to some highly educated people, a judge, a college
professor, and some doctors who will not try this  technique, but will pour
out money for drugs. This is not only  stupid, but dangerous.  Drugs have
been completely overused in the world today, especially this country.  And
for supposedly intelligent individuals to abuse them is sad.  Thankfully,
drug stores are now carrying the equipment to rinse and more and more
articles are being printed about it. Patricia C., VA

Nasal Irrigation

November 19th, 2007

I’m happy to share my fantastic experiences with this excellent product! As a former advocate of "Neti Pots" I’m even more impressed by the ease of use and clinical efficacy of the Nasopure product(s) in treating colds, sinusitis, nasal allergies, and indirectly even asthma! Patient acceptance has been great and I use one myself as well with benefit - generally at the day’s end when I’m finished in the office and want to "flush out" all of the offending little bugs I might’ve picked up during a busy shift… Highly recommended; wish I’d thought of it!!!
