Dr. Hana's Blog5 Year Old With Clean Nose Despite AllergiesSeptember 30th, 2008I read about the Nasopure Little Squirt to go in Parents Magazine. It sounded like the perfect thing for my 5 year old son who has been having a really rough time with his runny nose due to allergies. After about 4-5 days I noticed that his nose was much more clear! I would and will definitely recommend this product! Thank-You guys very much! Jessica Capretta, Napoleon, OH Posted in Questions and Answers | Natural Sinus CleanerSeptember 4th, 2008I have diseased sinuses from years of allergy attacks and recurrent sinus infections. I had gotten used to not being able to fully breathe through my nose, and gave up on using nasal sprays and various medications that only treated the symptoms. I was originally going to order a neti pot when I found the Nasopure system online, and decided to try that instead. I am so glad I went with Nasopure. It took me about three tries to get the proper angle and flow. The tissues in one of my nostrils were completely swollen, so at first, it was difficult to push the solution through. However, once I had used Nasopure a few times, I noticed a dramatic difference in the condition of my nasal tissues. I was able to actually breathe through my nose almost immediately. Now, I use Nasopure every morning and evening, just like brushing my teeth. Nasopure has made such a difference for me, that I plan to stop using breathe right strips on my nose when I go to sleep at night. I don’t think I will need them anymore! The best part about Nasopure, in my opinion, is that it is a completely natural way to clean the sinuses and nasal membranes, which in turn keeps them healthy to begin with, eliminating the need for medications. Sincerely, Heather Ryan Posted in Questions and Answers | Chronic SinusitisSeptember 4th, 2008I had begun suffering from chronic sinus infections on a regular basis and was constantly on medication in attempt to alleviate the symptoms. Not liking the idea of being medicated on a continual basis, I was open to any options available to me, except surgery. My daughter mentioned Nasopure to me and I was very open to the idea of using natural ingredients to cure the infections. I immediately began feeling better and my infections disappeared. I now wash daily, and also immediately after doing any yard work. Posted in Questions and Answers | Post Nasal DripSeptember 4th, 2008As a rural GP and Emergency Medicine Attending Physician, I’ve seen the gamut of medical conditions over the last 15 years, and have explored a myriad of options for most of them. Since fortuitously stumbling upon Dr Hana’s Nasopure about 4 years ago, I’ve recommended it for no small variety of conditions, and have found it particularly successful in treating nasal and sinus congestion in all of its’ varied forms – viral coryza, allergic and irritant congestion, and both viral and bacterial sinusitis. I’d certainly recommended Neti Pots and salt water inhalations in the past, but had found both patient acceptance and efficacy sadly problematic. The idea of pouring the contents of a tiny tea-pot into one’s nose was a difficult sell to the non-Indian patient, and even to those who’d grown up culturally accepting such a measure! The plastic Nasopure however was a more-or-less familiar looking object to the majority of my patients, and was (rather surprisingly to me) quite readily accepted – even by young children and teen-agers! Clinically, the results have been most gratifying – with the result that something I’d initially had to “sell” somewhat to the patients has now become familiar and accepted thru word-of-mouth alone in our small town! As respiratory illnesses often begin in the nose and upper airways, it’s seemed to me as if “early” treatment with the Nasopure may actually have aborted the progression of colds in some of my patients, along with alleviating the severity of their earliest symptoms. Whether patients are suffering “allergic” asthma (that triggered by moulds, pollens, grasses, dust mites etc) or “irritant asthma” (due to pollution, smog, chemical fumes etc) treatment with Dr Hana’s Nasopure has often provided amazing relief of both the upper airway symptoms and the secondarily-triggered asthmatic symptoms of wheeze and chest congestion. It’s certainly been a life-saver for a majority of these patients, and has in many cases dramatically reduced their use of not only inhaled steroids but both short and long-acting beta agonists (ie salbutamol). Not surprisingly, I’ve also had successes with Dr Hana’s Nasopure in treating chronic post-nasal drip, and occasionally patients have even reported a reduction in snoring as described by their sleep partners. As a practising physician exposed on a daily basis to all manner of respiratory pathogens, I tend to use this device myself near-religiously at the end of the work day to purge my nostrils of any viruses or bacteria who might be attempting to infect me. Although I’ve not truly documented my experience, I do feel that this intervention has served me well in helping me to avoid occupational illness despite my “high-risk” profession. I would highly recommend this well-designed little device to anyone with the above-mentioned conditions, or anyone with an interest in nasal health. I strongly feel that it should be a mainstay in the therapeutic repertoire of any ENT physician, Paediatrician, or General Practitioner. Lawrence Klein MD Posted in Questions and Answers | |
