My 7 yr. old has inherited his father’s seasonal allergies, along with allergies to mold and dust mites. He’s been on oral meds for it since he was 4, and has had frequent nose bleeds since he was 2. This year, after a dose of Nasonex, blood poured out of his nose and I said, "Enough!" Hi Dr.Hana,  I’m sorry to have missed your call earlier. I’m in the greater Tacoma, Washington area. We are just entering our spring pollen season and the lawn mowing has begun in earnest. Lots of wind too. All of which probably flings the nasties around and makes our noses unhappy ! In rural, south Pierce County, where we live, about 30 miles NW of MT. Rainier, there is a ban on large burning piles coming-up in July. This is dramatically increasing the dust and smoke in the air. Probably more info. than you wanted ! For me, like many of the folks on your site, I’m just tired of the drippy, itchy, sneezy, phlegmy and almost continuous sinus infections.
